Got the Chicken Shawarma in tin and it was delicious! Meat was soft, seasoned really well and tasted fresh. Rice was cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh tasting and it came with some green dressing and hot chili sauce! Super spicy but delicious. Nice and chill in there. Lady at the counter was super sweet and even brought my food to me. A little pricey but most food is nowadays. Definitely going back sometime in the future.
The hidden jewel of Sugarhouse. If you want authentic and delicious food from the heart of the Holy Land Jerusalem, then look no further. They are fast friendly, healthy and VERY affordable. :) A+++
I cannot express enough in my disappointment with this restaurant. We ordered a beef and shwarma wrap. Neither wraps had the vegetables on them. The seasoning on the chicken was so bad. I don't know what it was, but it's definitely NOT shwarma seasoning. Neither had ANY sauce (beef tahini and chicken garlic). The meat was extremely dry. We ordered a side of Falafel, they also did not come with tahini sauce. We had to ask for some. The sauce we received was more or less watered down ayran or tahn ( depending on who you are)- or mediterranean yogurt drink.
Good food for a good price. I really liked the kifteh sandwich. Had the gyro bowl before and it was great, but I felt recently the cilantro sauce they used might have been a bit diluted or it got put less; I’d love to see consistency there. Staff are friendly and can help you choose items with detail info if you’re unsure of what to get.
Food are of great quality! We usually visit this place so we’ve tried several of their menu like the chicken with rice and salad. This time we got the Jerusalem burger, hummus and dolmas. The burger was so tasty as well as the hummus - just amazing. Dolmas is cold and a bit too chunky so it’s not really a win for me.
